Fashion Forward

Our February event was a “run-way” success thanks to Nordstrom, Maggiano’s and our special guest Valerie Mayen. Close to 60 WISE Women came to a private event in the Nordstrom offices to learn how to shop smart using Nordstrom’s personal shopper services and to hear from Project Runway contestant Valerie Mayen.  Valerie was not the winner of that season’s show but she is a winner in our book. She now has a company called Yellow Cake, and she is helping other aspiring designers in Cleveland to reach their dreams and goals.  We also enjoyed dinner from Maggiano’s and “mocktails” from Budapest Blonde, a local company begun by Illona Simon!  We thank the programming committee for their hard work putting this one together!
